Our highly qualified engineers and PhDs work closely with our customers to find the best solutions for each application and all major platforms.
Our areas of Research & Development range from technological optimisations (FTTH, FITH, smart cities and smart buildings) to hybrid compatibility with transceivers capable of adapting to multiple platforms.
In addition, to give us a foothold into the future, we comply with numerous standards. First, MSAs: multi-source agreements between several manufacturers to make products compatible between suppliers. Acting as de facto standards and establishing a competitive marketplace for interoperable products.
In fact, MSA's products include: optical transceivers, such as SFP, SFP +, XENPAK, QSFP, XFP, CFP, etc.; fibre optic cables; and other network peripherals.
MSAs strictly define the operating characteristics of these network peripherals.
In conclusion, we know the importance of making the right choice of design, component and assembly method. Our R&D team focuses mainly on new innovative technologies starting with active participation in International standards and regulations.

Futhermore, Skylane Optics also complies with IEEE, ETSI and FTTH standards, as well as European Commission standards.
